New Hotel Renovation Project: Quality Inn to Candlewood Suites in Albuquerque
Liberty Way Renovation has started a new full-property renovation and conversion project in Albuquerque, New Mexico, transforming an existing 73-room Quality Inn into an 80-room Candlewood Suites.
Work began in August 2026 and is expected to continue through 2027.
The project includes updates throughout the hotel’s interior and exterior, with all guestrooms and public areas receiving a full renovation. Exterior improvements and other upgrades will also bring the property in line with Candlewood Suites brand standards.
As part of the transformation, several existing areas will be reconfigured to create additional guestrooms. The current indoor pool area will be converted into four new guestrooms, while unused space on the third floor will be transformed into three additional guestrooms. The meeting room will also be renovated.
Once completed, the property will increase from 73 to 80 guestrooms and reopen as a fully renovated Candlewood Suites.
